Volunteer Opportunities
 

As a nonprofit arts organization, Rising Star relies on volunteers to help bring productions and programs to life. Opportunities are available for a wide range of interests and skill sets.
 

On Stage

• Audition for upcoming productions

• Perform in family or youth shows
   

Behind the Scenes

• Costuming

• Sound and lighting

• Set construction and painting

• Props

• Backstage run crew
   

Support Roles

• Ushers for performances

• Event assistance

• Committee participation including Marketing, Fundraising, and Programming

Internships
 

Rising Star Theatre Company also offers a Summer Internship Program designed for college-age students interested in arts administration and theatre production.

​

Interns gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced theatre professionals while participating in meaningful projects across the organization. Opportunities may include:

• Production support

• Administrative projects

• Marketing and communications

• Event and program coordination
   

Internships typically run late May through early August, with some flexibility, and include a stipend.
